Delete a Weaver account

You can delete a Weaver account in the app, or request deletion by email without signing in.

Request by email

Email [email protected] with the subject “Weaver account deletion request.” If possible, write from the email linked to the account. Tell us which sign-in provider you used (Apple or Google) and any safe support reference you have.

We verify ownership before deleting data. Verified email requests are completed within 30 days. If law or exceptional circumstances require longer, support will notify you. Do not send passwords, session credentials, purchase tokens, or book text.

Delete in the app

  1. Open Account.
  2. Choose Delete Account.
  3. Confirm the deletion request.

In-app deletion normally completes during the confirmed request when required dependencies respond. For Sign in with Apple, Weaver removes the identity link and requests revocation of an associated Apple credential when one is available. For a linked renewing Google Play subscription, successful deletion first asks Google Play to stop renewal. If that cannot be confirmed, the account remains intact so you can retry.

What account deletion removes

Deletion removes live account data, linked identities, session credentials, linked book metadata, assistant history, usage records, generated-content reports, and subscription records held by Weaver. Shared nonpersonal catalog metadata may remain. Deidentified blocked-content fingerprints, legally required records, and store records may remain where necessary.

Access-restricted disaster-recovery backups are recovery-only and rotate daily for up to 7 days and weekly for up to 35 days. We do not promise instant or complete erasure from every backup, legal record, or provider copy.

Your local library is unaffected

Imported EPUB/PDF files, covers, progress, bookmarks, highlights, and notes are stored locally by default. Account deletion does not remove this local library. Remove books and app data from your device separately if you want to erase them.

Cancel or verify subscriptions

Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription; cancel it in Apple subscription management. For a linked renewing Google Play subscription, successful deletion first asks Google Play to stop renewal; if that cannot be confirmed, deletion does not proceed. In all cases, verify or cancel through Google Play subscriptions.
